When you need a ride to a medical service, to pick up a prescription or durable medical equipment, call us. We provide free rides, gas reimbursement and can provide bus passes to help get you there!
You should ask for a ride at least three(3) business days before your appointment. If you have special needs, like a lift or wheel chair van let us know when you call to set up your ride.
Before you call, see if a family member, friend or neighbor can drive you to your appointment. You can call for gas reimbursement the same day of your appointment as long as you call before your appointment.
Your driver will need to sign up for reimbursement using our online form. That form can be found here. After the trip has been completed, please let us know by filling out our reimbursement form. Your gas reimbursement will be processed after you fill out the reimbursement form. The reimbursement form can be found here.
If you can ride the bus, we will send you bus tickets or passes at no cost to you. You must call three (3) days before your appointment so we will have time to mail the bus passes to you.
To schedule a ride, use gas reimbursement or get a bus pass, call the Reservation Line at (800) 826-2862, x3608. If you need help, call the Customer Service Department at (800)826-2862 or (313) 871-2000, Monday – Friday, from 8:00 am- 5:00 pm.
If you need an ambulance to take you to the hospital due to an emergency, call 9-1-1.
